Missie van het ABS

Het ABS is er: “Om de Nationale en Internationale Gemeenschap te voorzien van deugdelijke statistieken die inzicht geven in de sociale, culturele, demografische en economische situatie en ontwikkeling van Suriname”		 Mission Statement

The GBS mission is: “To provide the National and International Community with sound Statistics that provide an insight into the social, cultural, demographic and economic situation and development of Suriname”.
Ons motto is afkomstig van H. G. Wells:
“Statistical Thinking will one day be as necessary for efficient citizenship as the ability to read and write”		 Our Maxim is from H. G. Wells:
