Doel:
De afdeling Public Relation and Information is een
communicatief-strategisch beleidsinstrument van het ABS, welke
een belangrijke rol speelt bij het leggen en onderhouden van
relevante contacten, zowel nationaal als internationaal .
Korte Historie
Het ABS legde en onderhield in het verleden contacten met de
relevante relatiegroepen hoofdzakelijk via de verscheidene
hoofden van de statistische afdelingen en via het secretariaat.
Vanwege de enorme toeloop van statistische informatieverzoekers
en andere invloedrijke maatschappelijke en technische
ontwikkelingen werd de behoefte aan een centraal meldpunt op het
ABS voor wat betreft informatieverspreiding en afhandeling van
informatieverzoeken steeds groter.
In oktober 1998 kon gestart worden met de standaardisatie van
de afdeling Public Relations and Information.
Hierbij worden alle informatieverzoeken centraal geregistreerd
en afgehandeld. Afhankelijk van het soort informatieverzoek
wordt deze binnen
1 - 5 dagen afgehandeld.
De stijgende trend van de informatieverzoeken de afgelopen 8
jaar geeft niet alleen een beeld van de behoefte aan
statistische informatie vanuit zowel de nationale als
internationale gemeenschap, maar kan ook gezien worden als een
signaal dat het mogelijkerwijs nodig zal zijn om waarnodig de
wijze van communicatie met de relevante doelgroepen te moeten
perfectioneren.

schriftelijke, per fax of per E-mail verzoeken.
-Verkoop van ABS- publicaties
- Kopieerfaciliteiten ( van ABS materiaal)
Voor Verdere informatie kunt u elke dag bij ons terecht van
maandag t/m donderdag 8.00u-14.30u en op de vrijdag van 8.00u –
14.00u.

Goal:
The section of Public Relations and Information is a Communicative strategic policy instrument of the GBS, which plays a very important roll in maintaining relevant contacts on a national as well as an international level.
Short History
In the past the GBS maintained contacts with the relevant relation groups via the heads of the various statistics sections and via the secretary’s office.
Because of the enormous growth in statistical information requests and other influential, social and technological developments, the need for a central desk at the GBS for dissemination of information and to complete information requests became greater.
In October 1998 the standardization of the section of Public Relations and Information was initiated.
Herewith all information requests are registered and completed.
Dependent on the type of information request this can be completed within 1- 5 days.
The rising trend of information requests over the past 8 years not only gives us a view of the need for statistical information from the national and international community, but can also be seen as a signal of a possible need, where necessary to perfect (or improve) the communication with relevant target groups.
